Jon Schuster - Personal Trainer
Jon is a graduate of the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) and a graduate of Wayne State University. He believes that pursuing a healthy lifestyle requires dedication, motivation and patience. It is his mission to exhibit these qualities by helping others reach their goals through the belief in themselves. He takes pride in teaching, inspiring and challenging individuals to go beyond their physical limitations and attain their health and fitness goals. He enjoys spreading the solid health and satisfaction that exercise brings to all fitness levels.
Dave Laycock, Sergeant Major, U.S. Army (Retired) - Fitness Leader
Sergeant Major Dave Laycock retired from the U.S. Army after serving on active duty for over 23 years. His service took him throughout the United States as well as Vietnam, Thailand and Germany. His extensive background in fitness began over 36 years ago as a Drill Sergeant and progressed to duty as a Master Fitness Trainer.v
Since retiring from the army, Sergeant Major has continued his fitness education career being certified as a YMCA Healthy Back Instructor, Personal Trainer and YMCA Personal Trainer. He has gone on to complete additional certifications as a Personal Trainer, and most recently, Advanced Personal Trainer.
Elizabeth A. Bosse - Personal Trainer
"Working out is the best thing in the world for everyone."
Elizabeth became an ACE certified Personal Trainer in San Jose, California in 1993. She trained clients there until she moved back to Michigan. Upon her return, she worked as a Personal Trainer at CMI Health Club, Bally's Total Fitness and Powerhouse Gym.
Elizabeth has a strong background in Tae Kwon Do that began in California with Olympic Team coach Master Yong Sup Shin. She takes pride in the positive results that her clients achieve. Elizabeth trained the winning team in MAC's BIGGEST LOSER club competition.
Michael D. Gilmer - Fitness Leader
Michael is a graduate of Western Michigan University, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science, with an emphasis in Physical Education. He has been personal training for over eight years and enjoys his job to the fullest.
Michael's hobbies include working out, playing basketball and being a father to his son, M.J. He loves the whole aspect of working out in order to live a longer and healthier lifestyle. His mission is to make sure the needs of his clients are met to the fullest extent. His goal is serve as an educator and show people that exercising is the most beneficial thing you can ever do for your life and your health. He especially enjoys training his clients through Cardio-Boxing and Sports Conditioning.
INDIVIDUAL + PARTNER TRAINING
Maximize your results with one-on-one training. All of your workout sessions are done with your trainer to ensure that your workout suits your needs every step of the way. Your trainer will help you set and achieve realistic fitness goals.
You can choose to work individually with a trainer or share instruction with a workout partner. Sharing sessions allows you to get the personal attention you need while benefiting from the support and motivation of working out with a friend.
GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING
Our MAC Pro personal trainers are now forming groups of 3-7 members for 30-minute group sessions. Group training provides a great way to meet new people and get fit at an affordable price, while still receiving personalized attention.
Sessions may be purchased for training 1, 2 or 3 days a week. Sessions cost $20.00 each and are available in packages of 12 or more. Payments may be made over three installments, providing further flexibility and affordability.
Groups are currently in progress and can be joined at anytime, regardless of fitness level.
